On Wednesday May 27, 2009 @ 2:24 p.m. CDT in Rolla, MO Rozlyn Marie Knowles-Walker arrived. She was greeted by a host of physicians to help her breathe. She was in great distress once she was delivered having the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. Our daughter Beth made a stress filled call for us to pray. We did and we give God the Glory for bringing little Rozzy through it all. The doctor is concerned he had to break her clavicle to get her delivered. Little Miss Roz weighs 8 pounds and is 21 inches long. Today, May 29th she went home with her mom and dad, Alexis and Ron. Grand Mother (Oma Beth) and her new grand father (Opa Todd) are excited to have her near to them. Other Grand parents (Lexie's dad Kevin & step mother Lisa from Orlando will visit them soon).
Our Summer outreaches begin next Wednesday June 3 which will be non stop through July 24th. After the outreaches we plan to get to Salem, MO to visit Rozlyn & family. Should the Lord allow, we might get to head that way around our 41st wedding anniversary June 21st.
Great Grand Parents! It is almost overwhelming to comprehend. We welcome this new little life and commit her to God as she grows to follow the PATH HE has for her. May she be a light of His love to those around her and may she be used by God to lead others to HIM especially in these days and times we are living in.
Welcome to the world Rozlyn! May you always be encompassed by love and truth always. "Grammy and Papa" are always here for you! But most importantly! Jesus loves you & will always be near you in all you do. May you grow in HIS light and Love.
Thank you all who prayed for Rozlyn during her time of arrival and afterwards as the doctors helped her begin her life!
