How Fast Time Flies By!

I can not believe just how fast time goes these days. Sometimes I literally wonder where a whole month has gone. It has been a whole month already since I had a chance to spend some time with our daughter and great grand daughter. She is such an adorable little girl with such a beautiful disposition. She is so happy and has a personality that draws people right to her. Sometimes that can be a not so good thing I guess. We pray over her all the time and give God praise for blessing our family with such a delightful child. It is wonderful to know her mom and dad have her in church learning the things of the Lord. It is so important for parents to "train up their children in the things of the Lord".

We have had a few "negative avenues" as a long time friend use to say to us. Tim has been fighting "connective tissue'' pain caused from over use of the antibiotic Levequin when he had MRSA in 2003. The doctors told him it would go away; but it hasn't after all these years. We are still believing for a miracle of healing where this is concerned.

We continue to pray the Lord will send All Tribes Fellowship a young man or couple to minister to the children and youth here in the community. We have a really nice facility for a "youth center" so now all we need is the leadership. There is so much potential for a great outreach to the youth here. Please pray with us concerning this and Tim's health.

We have friends Randy and Rebecca Jensen who are adopting a special needs little boy named Nathan. They NEED major financial miracle to get this adoption completed. PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM.

This is not everything that has happened since our last post; but it is getting late. We are so thankful to all of you who have partnered with us in prayer and support. May God bless you abundantly!

Been a Long Time!

Someone a few weeks back reminded me I haven't posted anything on here in a while. I haven't even written another chapter in our ''saga''. What I did do is go back to work for the South Dakota Assemblies of God District. I offered to help them through the district council and was asked if I would be interested in continuing. Thing was, three weeks into it my mom took a bad turn and I had to go to Panama City Beach, Florida and help with her care. I got there Easter Sunday and she passed away (well made her final journey to Heaven) on April 8th. Was a very difficult time. She was a good mom and she's missed a lot. We all have our moments as ''moms'' and mine had hers; but she did love us all. Our daughter Beth came down and said her good byes and helped me with gathering up as much of our mom's things as we could in a week. It was so good to have her with me.

In the meantime, I got back to SD and back to ministry and back to the district office. It's a lot of work holding down two full time jobs/ministries; but God is helping greatly and by providing the district job, it helps with our financial income as well. Still got to get Tim out to raise some funds; but it will all come in God's time.

Our Great Grand daughter Rozlyn has turned a year old already. So very hard to believe. How can the time fly so rapidly!!!! She is as adorable as ever and loves to get into everything and TALK, Chee, wonder where she gets that from??????
Finally had to get David another vehicle, the old Suzuki has over 230,000 miles on it and just wasn't reliable. Not that David goes anywhere much; but when he does, it's nice knowing he's safe.

Tim is working like a mad man. He's had a full work team in already from Peoria, IL and now our 7the year has begun with Harry and Mary Hartzler and about 40 have come to kick off VBS. Tim is the ''photographer'' for me this year as I won't get back home till Thursday night. Then our 3rd group comes in from Punxatauny, PA for a week. We're gearing up for our 3rd annual Day In The Park too. SO! If ya would like to make a donation to that endeavor (expecting about 800 Native folk) and give out back packs, just send funds to PO Box 28, Wagner SD 57380 and we'll get ya receipted and we'll all be GREATLY APPRECIATIVE.

Life has never a dull moment for us. We are so thankful for all God has done and continues to do in our lives and our family AND the ministry He has given into our care.

We appreciate you all and we are so thankful to have the friends we have. We are so excited too to have reconnected with long time friends the Sterling's in VA! They are ''sterling'' friends too!
OK that's what's been happening in the Life and Times of Tim and Elaine. God is faithful and we are so thankful for his care always.

Promise to not be so long in updating.
Blessings to all!
Tim and Elaine
