Change is coming!

Well, me thinks Summer has come and gone. Fall may have already come and gone! It is "cold" in South Dakota; but it warm in our hearts!

God is doing awesome things at All Tribes Fellowship, among the people and in our ministry. We have three to four men staying at the men shelter (which we really really need to get functioning far better than what we have). With the cold weather, the number will probably grow rapidly. Pray as we seek God's will in all this and how to fund it and provide for the need.

Tim will be going to see his mom. She turned 90 this past August. I will spend vacation time cleaning the parsonage and enjoying the little house.

We're also working to get Christmas Plans nailed down. Looks like Sunday, December 18th will the the Celebration Day. We still need Barbies and Action Figures. Babies and Teens are covered. Elaine (I) will be in Titusville for Todd and Megan's wedding. Will be a quick trip as work year end projects have to be completed.

So, life on the Rez for us is moving right along! God is Faithful and we are Excited! Please keep us in prayer.

It's Fall and absolutely Beautiful here in SD

Fall, one of the most colorful seasons. All have their own beauty; but there is nothing to me like Fall. The glory of all God's beauty. Colors that only He can make. We lived for so many years of our lives in Florida where it is green year round. There is nothing like that beauty and the tropical weather, well who wouldn't love it. But SD has such glorious seasons. Some last longer than others, such as "winter", which has it's share of beauty and the White Stuff! God brings changes and seasons in our lives too. We look back and wonder "Where did the years go" and we look back and see the miracles God has wrought in our lives and the lives of many others. We excitedly look toward the future and wonder what is ahead. And the PRESENT, oh what HE is doing NOW! Such as in the life of Lauren! Tim has known Lauren for a long time and I the last 3 years. About 2 months ago, God sparked the light in Lauren's soul and he has not been the same! Meet Lauren. Lauren has battled alcohol addiction for many many years. NOW he has been sober 8 weeks and in church and loving God. Please Keep him in your prayers. We will write more in the coming days with more news of what God is doing at All Tribes Fellowship!

Amazing Days!

Here we are exiting July and barreling right into the Dog Days of August. Where did the time go! Seems I was just telling "everyone" I didn't think I would ever be warm again and now we're well into the 90's and 100's! No complaining though cause winter will be back in SD before we realize it and Christmas staring us in the face. Speaking of Christmas!

We are getting ready for the Christmas Outreach at All Tribes Fellowship. Visit our web site for a list of things we're praying for this year to make the Holidays brighter for some kids and teens.

We participated in two outreaches July 16 and 23. The first was in Mission on the Rosebud Reservation with Pastors Johnny and Heidi Wade. What great time and boy was it H O T! God blessed a lot of children or school thanks to KC and Dianne Kopaska who gathered a trailer load of back packs with school supplies. The following Saturday, the 23 we did it all again at Lower Brule Reservation with Pastors Randy and Rebecca Jensen. H O T again but another great success! God is faithful and blessed another BUNCH of school kids again.

Now on a personal note. Tim just about has the little house ready for us to move into. Once that is done we will begin clean up and renovations of the Assemblies of God parsonage in Wagner and it will be READY FOR CHILDREN WORKERS. NOW for God to have their hearts prepared! We also ask you to pray concerning our ministry finances. Summer has proven to be a rough time for Missionaries and their support. And with the economy issues, well, the one main thing we all remember is "GOD IS OUR SOURCE and the OWNER OF THE CATTLE ON A THOUSAND HILLS". That's a lot of cows! And we serve a Big and Faithful Father God.

In closing! Sounds like a preacher doesn't it! Oh! I do hold credentials so guess I fall in that category! Anyway, continue to keep our Government in deep sincere prayer. The days do seem to be getting closer and closer for the catching away of church, the Bride of Christ. Seems Bible prophecy is proving out day by day! So we must work while there is day! Still doesn't stop us from doing what the Word says (even when it is a difficult thing to do sometimes) to pray for those in leadership of us.

Have a blessed day and remember, He will never leave or forsake us! Hold fast to your confession of Faith!

Blessings,
Tim and Elaine

Has been quite awhile since visiting our blog site.

Life tends to keep us pretty busy with "stuff" and just life in general. Can't believe how the days just slip past so quickly one right after the other and before you know it, nearly a whole year has come and gone. We look back and wonder (or I do) "what happened". I reflect over the last year and see a LOT has happened in our lives. Ups, down, curves, pot holes, but above all VICTORIES because Jesus was with us every one of those days and in our ups and downs, cures and even the pot holes! I'm thankful every day for what HE has brought us "through". Many surprises came our way such as our son in law taking course work for the ministry! What a delight! He is such a joy to our lives and especially to our daughter. For this we give God praise and Glory!

It's been over a year now since I went to work "again" at the SD District Office. A lot of learning to do again; but in peace (well maybe a couple months I wasn't in total peace; but came through it and learned a lot). Our precious Great Grand Daughter Roz just turned TWO years of age! How did that happen so fast???????? She is the delight of all our lives! We don't get to see her in person like we want to; but video chat is awesome! About every couple weeks Lexy will sit down with her (when she isn't interested in her toys) and let us see how much she has grown and changed! She can now say "Gammy" and it is so sweet! Of course I am not biased by any means! Just love that little doll face!

Tim took me to the Omaha Zoo for Mother's Day and my big Birthday! We won't talk about the Birthday number though!
It was a delightful couple of days away! I've wanted to go for so long! The gorillas were the biggest hit of the day for us both! We spent our day at the zoo with some 2500 school children on their end of year field trip. The next day we heard there were going to be 5000 there. Guess we chose the better day! It was fun watching the little guys enjoy their time there.

OK, guess I should leave this for now. Will try to write some more about our life and ministry soon. Follow us on www.prministries.net
I'm working on redeveloping the website and possibly a whole new site soon. Bless you all abundantly! Tim and Elaine
